Artist statement about the installation at On Mars Salon:

I am a painter who enjoys working mostly in the abstract form. Abstract work appeals to me personally because I like to find images within patterns, and I like the feelings and emotions evoked by color combinations. Some of my paintings are representational, but I make them fanciful, with themes of magic and fantasy. I do this, so that much like the abstract work, one can form an interpretation of the image and be moved by color. You will see a lot of bright colors in my paintings, and you will also see pattern repetition. I have organized the pieces into collections so that you can see the cohesiveness among them.
