Sherri Wheeler - Owner/Stylist
Sherri is the owner of On Mars Salon,opening in April 2003 for the purpose of creating a professional salon with a funky atmosphere without attitude. Having a background in education,training with Framesi Italy and Toni & Guy,as a certified colorist she strives to combine technical execution with a creative edge. She has worked East Coast to West and has done runway styling, photowork and Platform Education.
Her work was written up in SF magazine and she has received "Best Hair Colorist" in SF weekly.
Marcus Perry - Stylist
Creative and eclectic are two words that describe Marcus, not only as a stylist but also as an artist. Inspired by everything from foreign film to Rock & Roll, Marcus uses over 20-years of experience to give you something versatile and classic. From the runway to the classroom, Marcus has done it all. He has worked as an educator for several hair companies including Sebastian International. His work has appeared on runways of SF & LA as well as in film, theater, and television productions.
Tired of your old look? Marcus is open to try something new. Do you want to relax your naps? How about some sexy highlights or a faux hawk for your man? Marcus will hook you up! Marcus is also an entertainer and a published poet. His goal is to give style to the styleless and entertain the masses. "To truly have style," he says, "you must have a sense of humor."
Onika Simone has worked in the hair industry for 12 years, never loosing her passion to make people look and feel their best. From the beginning of her career, she has always sought out additional training and inspiration from the leaders in the industry, traveling across the country to train with Vidal Sassoon, American Crew, Bumble and Bumble, and Yosh. Onika also worked as an educator for both Artec and American Crew, and was a trainer in previous salons. After cutting hair in the Midwest for several years, she moved to San Francisco from Chicago almost six years ago and began training at Vidal Sassoon to become a color expert. She is very knowledgeable with all types of color, including corrective work. Onika is also a strong hair cutter, with extensive training in razor cuts. Her passion for what she does shines through in her work, and it is just one thing that sets her apart in the industry.
Fae -Stylist
Faes work displays the skill she has been honing since her beginning in 1997. Her area of specialty is in fun and funky cuts and creative color guaranteed to turn heads. Fae gives precise attention to detail in her work, finishing off cuts with accents that define bone structure or draw eyes to sexy textured necklines. As an artist Fae incorporates her skills as a sculptor and painter to add a new dimension to hair. She is inspired by styles from the 20’s and 30’s, and can give you that sleek angled bob or slick pompadour you've been craving. From short textured cuts to long silky layers, Fae's your gal for any style you can dream up. After working from coast to coast, and training with Bumble and Bumble, she returned to work in the awesomeness that is San Francisco. In her spare time, Fae is an artist working in the mediums of painting, sculpting, jewelry, and dolls. She is inspired by French noir films, nouveau and deco design, and sea monsters.
Jenene Curtis - Stylist
You will find a glamour girl with bits of rock-chick and cowgirl thrown into Jenene Curtis. She is as eclectic as her clients and loves variety. Specializing in cuts and color, she can do all kinds of hair from straight to curly and everything in between, fusion hair: office by day, rock star by night.
Jenene studied with Bumble and Bumble in New York and Framesi Of Italy.
Jenene has styled hair for magazine photo shoots and fashion shows and has been doing hair for the past 23-years. She also offers Personalized Shopping. Come check out what she can do for you!
Lauren-Michelle Rouleau - Stylist
She is a San Diego transplant and thrilled to be apart of San Francisco. She has trained extensively with Toni & Guy as well as the Paul Mitchell Team.
Sitting in her chair you will feel comfortable and relaxed, as she listens and suggests ideas to create a fabulous you. Lauren-Michelle is available for Cutting, Color, Special FX, Styling and special occasion do's.
Noleen has over 20 years experience in doing hair starting in her homeland of Ennis, Ireland she has been in SF working the in lower Haight for the past 10. She has training background working with Wella, Sebastian and Bumble and Bumble doing cuts, color and Special Effects. She has a versatile style creating edgy to classic.
Rachel's passion for hair came at a young age...chopping off all of her Barbie's hair! She's learned a thing or two since then, training with Redken, Aveda, and Goldwell. Rachel specializes in cutting and coloring any texture of women's hair. She loves helping others discover their own unique, personal style. Check her out!
